I'd completely forgotten I was due to give a talk about my books and writing this coming Thursday. Or rather I'd put it in the 'not for ages yet' folder in my head.
Fortunately they only want 20-30 minutes so that will be easy to fill. Unfortunately I haven't ordered copies of my books to sell.
Bad rookie mistake.
I'd also forgotten that it's time for me to write my next article for our local magazine, The Bay. Because we work roughly a month in advance no sooner does one issue come out - and I sit back and revel in it - than the next article has to be considered.
Last time I wrote about big houses, money, the Beatles and babies. You can read my article here if you'd like to. This time with Easter approaching I suppose I should come up with an appropriate theme. Eggs and bunnies and chocolate and stuff. Hm, have to think about that.
I've been off grid sort of for a week, staying with Younger Son and his family to help with new baby. While I was away Husband got my new all-singing all-dancing computer set up for me. I'm sure it will be wonderful in time; just because I can't find anything now ...
Also, a keyboard is a keyboard so why am I struggling to use this new one?
